About the Role

We're looking for a Music Educator (Guitar) who can help design the learning experience for a children's app aimed at users under 12.

This person should be comfortable working closely with a product team, as one of their first major responsibilities will be collaborating with the design and engineering teams, rather than focusing on teaching.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with technology, creating structured learning environments, improving processes, and helping children learn to play guitar.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the engineering and design teams to define key UX aspects of the app.
  • Develop and run user-test simulations based on established specifications.
  • Design learning activities for the app, including song selection, difficulty levels, and other relevant details for each learning step.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of the overall learning experience.
  • Provide educational and musical expertise throughout the product development process.
  • Work closely with the engineering team to ensure that educational concepts are effectively translated into the product.
Requisitos

Requirements:

  • Strong guitar-specific expertise.
  • Bachelor's degree in Music, with a specialization in Guitar.
  • 5+ years of experience teaching children is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of children's learning environments and educational methodologies.
  • Experience working with apps or digital learning products.
  • Comfortable working closely with product, design, and engineering teams rather than teaching independently.
  • Experience working with or overseeing engineering teams is strongly preferred.
  • Willing to participate in a paid working week in Helsinki as part of the evaluation process.
  • Based in Munich or open to relocating to Munich, as this role requires working on-site with the team.
