We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our Translation & Localization team. This role is responsible for managing projects end-to-end—from initial client request to final delivery—ensuring high-quality results, on-time execution, and strong client satisfaction while maintaining profitability.

You will act as the main point of contact between clients, internal teams, and external linguists, coordinating multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define project scope: Gather client requirements, analyze files, and ensure all project details are clearly understood to support accurate planning and quoting.
  • Estimate time and costs: Prepare detailed quotes including pricing and timelines, perform file preparation and Translation Memory analysis, and support vendor selection aligned with project constraints.
  • Plan and assign resources: Identify and allocate internal and external resources, assign tasks, and set clear expectations and deadlines.
  • Execute and monitor projects: Coordinate workflows across teams, track progress, manage timelines, and ensure all project milestones are met.
  • Ensure quality and compliance: Validate deliverables, coordinate with QA and design teams, and confirm that all outputs meet client specifications and quality standards.
  • Deliver projects: Share final deliverables with clients, ensuring a smooth handoff and positive client experience.
  • Manage post-project activities: Handle invoicing, process vendor payments, and ensure overall project profitability.

Requisitos

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5+ years of experience in project management, with strong exposure to direct client communication (preferably within translation or localization).
  • Availability to work 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM PST.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to navigate challenges effectively.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Customer-focused approach with strong relationship management skills.
  • Familiarity with CAT tools and project management systems.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working with localization workflows and linguists.
  • Knowledge of Translation Memory tools and QA processes.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Project Management platforms (internal systems).
  • CAT tools (Computer-Assisted Translation tools).
  • Microsoft Office / Google Workspace.

Quality & Compliance

This role follows internal Quality Management System (QMS) processes, including project execution, vendor management, client satisfaction tracking, and continuous improvement practices.

Team & Reporting

  • Reports to the Translation & Localization Manager or Supervisor.
  • Provides guidance and support to vendors and team members.
  • Collaborates cross-functionally with Sales, QA, and Design teams.
