We are looking for a proactive and organized Project Manager - Weekend Coverage to join our team and support translation and localization projects in a fast-paced environment. This role requires strong coordination skills, attention to detail, and the ability to react quickly to urgent requests during weekends.

Working Hours: Saturday and Sunday, from 8 AM to 6 PM EST.

Weekend work involves low volume but high urgency, with projects typically requiring assignment and delivery within 1–2 hours.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate translation and localization projects from request to delivery.
  • Assign projects to translators and linguists, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
  • Manage urgent, short-deadline projects during weekends.
  • Maintain clear communication with clients, translators, and internal teams.
  • Track project progress, timelines, and deliverables using TMS and CAT tools.
  • Ensure projects are delivered accurately and on time.

Requisitos

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of experience as a Project Coordinator or Project Manager in the translation or localization industry.
  • Advanced student or graduate in Translation, Linguistics, or related fields (preferred).
  • Bilingual level of English (written and spoken).
  • Experience using CAT tools, preferably memoQ.
  • Experience with Translation Management Systems (TMS), preferably FlowFit (not mandatory).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and respond quickly to urgent requests.

Nice to Have:

  • Previous experience working with tight deadlines and time-sensitive projects.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
