We are looking for a proactive and organized Project Manager - Weekend Coverage to join our team and support translation and localization projects in a fast-paced environment. This role requires strong coordination skills, attention to detail, and the ability to react quickly to urgent requests during weekends.
Working Hours: Saturday and Sunday, from 8 AM to 6 PM EST.
Weekend work involves low volume but high urgency, with projects typically requiring assignment and delivery within 1–2 hours.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate translation and localization projects from request to delivery.
- Assign projects to translators and linguists, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
- Manage urgent, short-deadline projects during weekends.
- Maintain clear communication with clients, translators, and internal teams.
- Track project progress, timelines, and deliverables using TMS and CAT tools.
- Ensure projects are delivered accurately and on time.
Requisitos
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience as a Project Coordinator or Project Manager in the translation or localization industry.
- Advanced student or graduate in Translation, Linguistics, or related fields (preferred).
- Bilingual level of English (written and spoken).
- Experience using CAT tools, preferably memoQ.
- Experience with Translation Management Systems (TMS), preferably FlowFit (not mandatory).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and respond quickly to urgent requests.
Nice to Have:
- Previous experience working with tight deadlines and time-sensitive projects.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
