Responsibilities:
- Support the production team with the delivery of multi-language solutions.
- Develop trusted partnerships with your clients, colleagues and suppliers by sharing your expertise and support.
- Work as a member of our global Operations Team.
- Deliver service that meets SLAs, business targets and ISO standards, delights internal and external clients, and is constantly evolving to meet client needs and biggest business opportunities.
- Develop trusted partnerships with our suppliers.
- Collaborate cross team by actively participating in company strategic initiatives.
- Manage enterprise-level, larger and strategic projects predominantly.
- Support your team and the Global Production Team with less complex projects as and when required depending on current business opportunities and global capacity.
- Manage complex multilingual projects involving a variety of services independently, within budget and to client expectations.
- Support Sales from operational perspective to deliver a seamless service to prospects and clients.
- Support Sales with pre-production activities including project planning and costing.
- Oversee end-to-end production processes and solutions development for clients internally and externally.
- Source the most appropriately skilled linguists or suppliers.
- Use translation management software to leverage internal and translation memory (TM) segment repetitions.
- Offer advice, trouble shoot and act as subject matter expert on your team.
- Build and contribute to client guides and workflow documentation.
- Develop expertise in a wide range of sectors and services.
- Responsible for the compliance of our production operation to requirements of ISO 9001 and ISO 17100.
- Conduct project analyses, planning and briefings including project kick-off meetings, design CAPA and perform project post-mortems independently.
- Manage and resolve customer complaints to their satisfaction with minimal support.
- Implement and use the latest translation technologies as well as client specific IT Systems to increase productivity and ensure high-quality of service.
- Proactively identify opportunities to reduce costs, improve workflow and productivity.
- Oversee translation memory and term base development and maintenance for repetitious content and/or specialised terminology.
- Offer best practice advice and make recommendations on workflows to our customers.
- Ensure the company’s administration systems for project data are updated in accordance with our standard procedures.
- Manage project budgets to meet revenue and margin targets.
- Build trusted relationships with external and internal clients and represent the team/the company at meetings.
- Liaise with Sales and IT staff to ensure excellent quality of service and high standards of customer care.
- Collaborate with Sales and participate in pitches, proposals and other sales activities to win new contract business.
- Collaborate with Production leaders and other Project Managers to deliver a team strategy aligned with the Group’s strategic objectives and to deliver team’s revenue objectives.
- Collaborate with other departments (i.e. Sales, Technology Solutions, Productivity Management, Operational Excellence, Linguist Community, File Engineering, Media Localisation, Production Teams) to ensure optimal production process and excellent client service.
- Promote the company’s growth and global collaboration across functions.
Requisitos
Requirements:
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English and preferably one other language.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in the supply of client-side translation within a project management role.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills and the ability to handle pressure when delivering to tight deadlines.
- Competence in using translation management and productivity technology with the ability to learn new technologies and programs quickly.
- Competence in managing projects and tasks involving a variety of services and complex workflows.
- Proven competence in project planning, resource and risk management.
- Experience managing interpreting projects is a plus.
- Knowledge of industry standards and current trends.
- Solution-oriented.
- Good commercial acumen and proven customer-centric approach.
- Flexibility and a positive, ‘can-do’ approach.
- Ability to handle pressure when delivering high volumes and to tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
