As a Project Coordinator, you will support the Market Research and Healthcare Team with the production of language services in accordance with our ISO-accredited quality management system. Your primary focus will be working with our UK and European market research and healthcare research accounts, but as a true team player, your work will also involve supporting the global Production Team.
This opportunity is open only to candidates based in Europe.
Working hours: 9am to 5.30pm UK time, Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Work as a part of our global Production Team.
- Liaise with our Sales team.
- Provide prompt, effective support and communication to our linguists (individual support and community management).
- Oversee the full cycle of project management from initial quote through to final delivery, covering a wide range of our services to meet revenue and margin targets.
- Plan, monitor and coordinate the linguists’ workflows and evaluate their performance.
- Source the most appropriately skilled linguists.
- Use translation management software to leverage internal and translation memory (TM) segment repetitions.
- Use recent developments in AI to facilitate carrying out translation projects.
- Manage and maintain translation assets (translation memories, glossaries, term bases).
- Adhere to our ISO-accredited quality control procedures.
- Update the company’s administration systems for project, supplier and client data in accordance with our procedures.
- Manage project budgets to meet revenue and margin targets.
- Advise linguists on productivity targets and best practice, troubleshooting when necessary to ensure smooth production.
- Resolve client complaints with the support of senior colleagues in accordance with our ISO-accredited procedures.
- Attend regular training/renew accreditation (if need be) to best represent the client as a trusted partner for market researchers and healthcare researchers worldwide.
- Build strong and collaborative relationships with our clients, and provide them with helpful, knowledgeable and friendly support.
- Gather and act on client feedback to optimize production processes.
- Collaborate with our global Production Team and liaise with Account Management, Business Development, Vendor Management, Finance, and Technology staff to ensure excellent quality of service and high standards of customer care.
- Promote the growth of our company and the Market Research and Healthcare Team through the delivery of services to best meet client requirements.
- Share your own ideas on the company's policies and strategies, when required.
- Identify opportunities for improving processes and increasing efficiency.
Requisitos
Requirements:
- Exceptional spoken and written language skills in both English and one foreign language.
- University graduate in either modern languages, linguistics, translation, or interpreting with an interest in building a career within translation project management.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Logical and creative thinking with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude.
- Demonstrating ability to organise and prioritise your work.
- Willingness to share your expertise and learn from the people around you, with an internal drive for continuous self-development.
- Be a dedicated and enthusiastic team member and conscientious in promoting the growth of our company.
- An ability to learn new technologies and programs quickly, although a basic understanding of translation management and productivity technologies would be beneficial.
- Previous experience liaising directly with clients or customers on a daily basis would also be beneficial.
