We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Manager to oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of translation and localization projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for quoting, coordinating with linguists and clients, ensuring timely project delivery, and maintaining high client satisfaction.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (UK time).
Responsibilities:
- Create and send project quotes to clients for both new projects and additions to existing ones.
- Manage the full project workflow, including creation, assignment to linguists, progress monitoring, and final delivery.
- Act as a point of contact between clients and linguists, handling queries and facilitating effective communication.
- Build and strengthen relationships with freelance linguists to ensure consistent collaboration and quality.
- Manage client feedback and complaints with professionalism, ensuring resolution and client retention.
- Perform project administration tasks: request purchase orders (POs), monitor financials to ensure accurate client billing and linguist payment, upload final deliverables and confirm delivery time/date, and ensure the project is ready to be closed ideally within 48 hours of delivery.
- Monitor and meet quarterly KPIs, including: revenue targets, profit margin goals, number of quotes generated and an additional quarterly objective set at the start of each quarter.
Requisitos
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, Communications, Project Management, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in translation project management or a similar role.
- Proficiency with CAT tools (e.g., Trados, memoQ, XTM) and the ability to resolve technical issues.
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or Google Workspace.
- Familiarity with quality assurance processes in translation and localization.
- Experience in preparing quotes, setting rates, and negotiating with clients.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with clients, linguists, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to quickly identify and resolve technical issues with CAT tools, formatting, or client requests.
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams, including linguists, QA specialists, and other project stakeholders.
