Descripción del puesto
What We’re Looking For
This is a brand-new role at . We’re not hiring someone to be told what to do: we’re hiring someone to help us build a stronger smarter sales function from the ground up. That means you’ll need to be both a strategic thinker and a hands-on doer.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Identify and close new business opportunities in the company’s target verticals (e.g., government, education, finance, and corporate).
Build a pipeline using outreach, research, referrals, and partnership opportunities.
Experience with preparing and delivering proposals (RFIs, RFQs) is a plus.
Collaborate with the CEO and Project teams to align offerings with client needs and capacity.
Analyze results and help us build a smarter, more scalable sales engine.
What This Role Is Not:
This is not a plug-and-play sales role. You won’t walk into a polished CRM with leads waiting. You’ll be co-creating the system, defining KPIs, and helping us design an incentive model based on real results.
If you’re looking for autonomy, ownership, and the chance to shape something meaningful, this is for you.
What We Offer:
A competitive base salary + uncapped commission tied directly to performance and results.
Remote-first and flexible work culture: you’ll have the autonomy to structure your day and own your outcomes.
A chance to shape the direction of a company in expansion: we’re not handing you a script, we’re inviting you to help write it.
The opportunity to work directly with the CEO and a small but dedicated team, where your ideas and execution can create immediate impact.
A focus on Over-the-Phone Interpretation (OPI) and document translation, with active growth initiatives in Latin America and emerging markets.
A mission-driven environment that values language access, cultural understanding, and doing things the right way: even when no one’s watching.
Requisitos
We’re looking for someone who:
Has at least 2 years of proven sales experience in the language services industry required.
Understands the full sales cycle in this sector, from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals and growing client relationships.
Thrives in an autonomous environment: there won’t be a sales manager training you; you’ll be defining and refining the playbook with us.
Is fluent in both English and Spanish (spoken and written). You don't need to be a linguist but you do need to be able to communicate effectively in both languages due to our current US-based clients and our LATAM expansion.
Can work independently, manage their own time, and hold themselves accountable.
Can build processes, not just follow them. You’re comfortable with experimentation, iteration, and self-driven improvement.
