The Vice President of Sales is responsible for leading the sales strategy, driving revenue growth, and expanding market share for our interpreting and translation services. This role requires a seasoned sales leader with a deep understanding of the language services industry, strong leadership skills, and a proven record of exceeding sales targets. The VP of Sales will oversee the sales team, forge strategic partnerships, and collaborate with internal teams to enhance service offerings and ensure client satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue goals.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to drive performance and accountability.
  • Identify and target key industries and markets for expansion.
  • Set, track, and analyze key sales metrics to optimize performance.

Business Development & Client Acquisition

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the language services industry.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at education, legal and non-profit organizations.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing to ensure profitability and long-term client partnerships.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.

Revenue Growth & Market Expansion

  • Expand the company’s client base through strategic sales initiatives.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities.

Collaboration & Internal Alignment

  • Partner with Finance to forecast revenue and manage sales budgets.
  • Maintain a strong feedback loop with the leadership team to align sales efforts with company goals.

Requisitos

Requirements:

  • Proven experience (10+ years) in sales leadership, preferably in the interpreting, translation, or language services industry.
  • Strong understanding of interpreting and translation services, industry trends, and competitive dynamics.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead sales teams.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
