We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Director of Interpretation to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage a team of 4-5 people, including members of the scheduling and account management teams. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.

The Director of Interpretation will be responsible for achieving monthly sales goals for their department and identifying opportunities for growth within existing accounts. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong understanding of the industry, and a proven track record of managing staff and client relationships.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong managerial and strategical skills to ensure that the staff provides high-quality interpreting services to our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide training and support to staff to ensure interpreter assignments are based on client needs.
  • Monitor and evaluate staff performance.
  • Identify opportunities for account growth by working with the sales team to secure existing and new business.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver solutions.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for interpreting services.
  • Assist in the budget planning and management for the department.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Requisitos

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in interpreter coordination or a related role.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to provide strategic advice.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Keen attention to detail and accuracy.
