We are looking for a Recruiting Coordinator to support our vendor recruitment efforts for translation and interpreting projects. The ideal candidate will have experience sourcing and evaluating translators, interpreters, and other language service providers. This role involves managing the recruitment process, reviewing applications, and maintaining vendor records.
Responsibilities
- Handle all emails to the Recruiting mailbox.
- Review applications from vendors.
- Screen employee candidates.
- Receive and verify certificates, diplomas and other documents that vendors add to VMS.
- Recruit new interpreters.
- Recruit new translators, revisers, agencies, and other translation-related vendors.
- Test translation candidates, arrange for tests to be marked, issue purchase orders to markers.
- Negotiate rates for existing translators asking for increase (as well as negotiate prior to onboarding new translation vendors).
- Help with translation RFPs – selecting vendors and updating resumes for the RFP.
- Deal with miscellaneous questions from vendors.
Requisitos
Requirements:
- Experience in recruiting translators, interpreters, or other language service providers.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Familiarity with translation industry processes and vendor management systems is a plus.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm EST.
