The Business Development Executive contributes to business growth by sourcing new opportunities and generating leads, helping to identify prospects in our target growth areas and potential business opportunities in line with our sales and marketing strategy. They work actively with the Sales Team and internal departments to ensure that all new projects align with company and client requirements and comply with ISO quality standards as appropriate.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting sales outreach and lead generation through preferred channels
  • Researching and attending relevant industry events
  • Representing the company at exhibitions, and walking the floor to identify potential leads
  • Using social media platforms, such as LinkedIn, to identify prospects
  • Profiling clients and mapping companies
  • Identifying opportunities within companies by finding relevant stakeholders
  • Keeping in touch with a wide portfolio of prospects
  • Engaging potential leads by emailing marketing content
  • Scheduling meetings for the sales team
  • Conducting customer satisfaction surveys
  • Collaborating with the Sales Team to drive sales in targeted verticals
  • Liaising with ALM’s Team members and technical staff to understand ALM’s commercial approach and stay up-to-date on market and service offerings
  • Supporting ongoing marketing plans
  • Entering and updating information into our CRM to maintain a clear contact trail from initial contact onward
  • Attending sales meetings

Requirements:

Skills and abilities:

  • Well-rounded, able to work independently while providing clear reports to line managers
  • Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Adaptability to a rapidly changing and growing business environment
  • Ability to quickly act on feedback and implement improvements
  • Proven ability to achieve targets and meet KPIs
  • Strong presentation and meeting facilitation skills
  • Effective teamwork skills, especially when working with the Sales Team
  • Skill in building and maintaining client relationships
  • Responsibility and accountability, with a proactive attitude toward lead generation
  • Ability to work within ISO standards guidelines
  • Ability to contribute to sales and lead generation targets
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills
  • Proven experience in a lead-generation role, with at least 1 year of experience, preferably in the localization field

Experience:

  • Proven ability to identify and share validated leads with the Sales Team
  • Active involvement in supporting sales strategies and processes to align with the company’s business goals

Lead generation:

  • Lead generation through both marketing channels and independent research
  • Knowledge of the localization market is an advantage
  • Ability to identify sales opportunities
  • Ability to take a targeted approach to sales
  • Experience in cold outreach and lead generation
