We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team in the Translation and Localization industry. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating and supporting multiple translation and localization projects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery, client satisfaction, and the highest quality standards. As the bridge between our clients, linguists, and internal teams, you will manage schedules, track project progress, and assist in resolving issues to ensure smooth execution. Responsibilities:

  • Project Management Support: Assist in the end-to-end coordination of translation and localization projects, including project setup, task assignment, and progress monitoring.
  • Communication: Act as the primary point of contact between clients, linguists, and internal teams to ensure clear communication, project updates, and addressing client requirements.
  • Scheduling & Tracking: Maintain detailed project schedules and deadlines, monitor project progress, and track all deliverables to ensure timely completion.
  • Quality Assurance Support: Collaborate with linguistic teams and the QA department to ensure quality checks and that translations meet client-specific guidelines and standards.
  • Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with freelance translators, editors, and proofreaders, ensuring they are informed about project timelines and expectations.
  • Technical Support: Assist in troubleshooting issues related to translation management systems (TMS) and other project management tools.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Keep accurate records of all project-related documentation, including client feedback, project details, and final deliverables. Prepare regular reports on project status and progress.
  • Budget Management: Assist in managing project budgets, ensuring that projects stay within agreed-upon cost estimates
  • Client Satisfaction: Ensure that client expectations are met or exceeded by maintaining open lines of communication and providing exceptional customer service throughout the project lifecycle.

Requisitos

Requirements

  • Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in translation, linguistics, business, communications, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in project coordination, preferably within the translation, localization, or language services industry.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English is required. Additional language skills are a plus.
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with Translation Management Systems (TMS), CAT tools.
  • Organizational Skills.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Pacific Time Zone.
